Frequently asked questions

What clients ask us most about this service.

What is project finance?

A way of financing a project in which the debt is repaid from the revenues the project itself generates, not from its owners’ balance sheet. The analysis therefore focuses on the project’s cash flows, contracts and security package.

What is a PPP in Colombia?

A public-private partnership is a contract in which a private party designs, builds, finances, operates and maintains public infrastructure and is paid according to availability and service quality. It is governed by Law 1508 of 2012 and can be a public or private initiative.

What makes a project bankable?

Predictable, contracted revenues, feasibility studies, sponsor equity, a solid security package, and permits and land under control.
