What is a PPP?

The State and a private party team up to build infrastructure.

The private party designs, builds, finances and operates the asset; the State pays based on availability and service quality. In Colombia PPPs are governed by Law 1508 of 2012.

Public or private initiative.

A public entity can structure the project, or a private party can propose it with its own studies and financial model.

The project must be bankable.

Without a solid financial and security structure, banks won't lend. Check in one minute how ready your project is.
